Anyone who scans your Mediscan ID with a smartphone (can be iphone or android) —like a first responder, friend, or passerby — can view the public safety information you’ve chosen to share, such as medical conditions, emergency contacts, and instructions. Your profile is hidden on the web and cannot be found using Google or any other search engine. 

If you lose your MediScan bracelet, you should immediately alert us on profiles@mediscanid.com. Your medical profile can be deactivated from the lost device and transferred to a new one for security.

Visit My Account sign into your account and you can change the address in the form. 

Yes, you can update your medical details anytime through My Account. Simply go to your profile and reset your password to confirm your account. Make the necessary edits. The changes will be saved instantly. 

Yes, MediScan is designed to be water-resistant, meaning it can handle everyday splashes and sweat. However, it’s recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to water, like swimming or showering, to maintain its durability.

No, MediScan stores essential medical data on the server, it is up to the responder to have data on the phone to be able to load your profile. 

You sure can. Having a spare around can be helpful but it really is personal choice. We hope to expand our range to include other accessories so no doubt as some stage you may like to add another.  

The medical profiles initially included mainly neurological conditions such as FND, Alzheimer, MND, dementia just to name a few. But this covers anyone that needs it, but serves mostly for people who have conditions that are Chronic but not critical.

Mediscan ID goes to big lengths to ensure your data is kept secure and up to date. So if you lapse your subscription your profile will no longer be live. If you have any more questions please let reach out.
